Thorn Creek Basin Sanitary District has an opening for Maintenance Class A worker.  TCBSD is an award-winning and independent unit of local government, located in the south Chicago suburbs, that treats wastewater to protect the environment.  TCBSD participates in the fully-funded IMRF employee pension program and has a high employee retention rate.  Other benefits include eleven annual paid holidays, accruable PTO, and training/education reimbursement.

A high school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of combined work experience is desired in the craft areas of Plumbing/Pipefitting, Mechanical and Welding. Skill in Heating & Cooling, Electrical/Electronics, and Carpentry may also be considered.  Must possess journeyman level skill in at least one of the above desired craft areas and also have above average skills in two other areas.
