Our Weatherization/Energy Services team is hiring new and experienced installers and trades people to retrofit residential homes with energy-saving devices and systems.
Responsibilities include:
*Installing insulation and windows, air sealing
residential buildings, cleaning, tuning, and
repairing heating systems, and other tasks as
directed in work plans
*Organizing materials for daily work activity
*Driving and proper care of agency work trucks
*Complying with safety rules and guidelines
This position works four, 10-hour days and is
provided a uniform, tools, and transportation
to job sites.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED/HSED preferred; relevant experience in residential housing construction and/or weatherization preferred; obtain certifications as required by program; valid, unrestricted New York State driver's license.
Pay Range Guide:
Standard Start Rate - education and experience meet job requirements
Advanced Start Rate - education and experience exceed job requirements (subject to approval)
Pay Range: $17.49 - $20.11 per hour
