Manufacturing Facility Shop Hand

LTS Energy, a leading manufacturer based in Houston, Texas, specializes in High-Pressure, High-Temperature Flowlines, pigging and packaged skid systems, as well as flow control products, including chokes, ball valves, check valves, control valves, and heat exchangers. Our manufacturing operation is an ISO 9001-certified, API-licensed, and custom-built facility located in Belle Chasse, Louisiana.

Job Purpose
Our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector is looking for skilled individuals to support the production operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
• Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, delivery vehicles, and containers, by hand or using a forklift, crane, or other equipment.
• Sort materials before loading and unloading.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments, material, or equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items in transport.
• Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads.
• Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.
• Perform general housekeeping as well as maintenance duties in a manufacturing environment.

Skills/Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification is preferred but not required
• Experience using hand and power tools
• Required to be standing and walking up to and occasionally exceeding 8 hours. Regular bending and lifting to 50 lbs, with occasional lifting to 75 lbs
• Previous experience in a manufacturing setting is a plus
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
• Basic math and computer skills
