Mechanical Engineer - Test: Design highly complex components and simple sub-systems. Provide technical design leadership for major sub-systems. Implementation of tools to perform lab testing at the system level. Continuous monitoring and feedback is highlighted in weekly meeting. Benchmark Competitor vehicle for Telematics, ADAS, transmission shift quality, shift map, shift pattern and, behavior, comfortability, fuel economy, performance, market study. Test Prototype vehicles with latest transmission system and transmission software with various mapping structure. Study of requirements and specification documents as well as architecture and design documentation of complex Telematics Systems. Inspection, Test Planning and management of various test conditions for connected cars. Coordinating with various teams and suppliers which work for connected cars programs. Data Collection and analysis from connected cars with CANAlyzer software. Planning, execution and Validation of Various connected features in prototype cars. Evaluating Competitor vehicles with connected features and comparison report prepared for in house product development. Organize the test plan and coordinate with the vehicle management team. Summarize the test data and perform analysis based on guidelines for the required drive performance. Perform analysis on various test data based on various driving pattern and conditions.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automotive Engineering. 40 hours/week, $84,302/year.
